Box your book – Alice on Show

At the Book Art Fair #Boekkunstbeurs in November 2021 the winning 34 boxes of the international ‘Box your Book’ challenge were showcased. It was wonderful to see how each maker had created a box complementing the book that holds a special place in the heart.
All submitted 89 boxes are in the catalogue, published by the organising committee of the Stichting Handboekbinden (the Dutch Society of Bookbinding).

When the competition was announced in 2020, I immediately knew it would have to be this edition of Alice in Wonderland with amazing illustrations by Dutch illustrator Floor Rieder. Check her latest work here.
